Ruby Floral Pottu Thali

South Indian Bottu (Thirumangalayam): Small thali pendant, also known as Pottu, in a round inverted cup shape, studded with decorative pota rubies (0.3 carats) and floral accent. This pendant, which is an auspicious symbol of marriage can be worn with a yellow cord (manja kayiru), popularly by the Telugu communities. The individual thali is slightly smaller than a dime (10 cent coin).
